CratePaks are Introduced for Kayak Fishing Market
Precision-Pak, a leader in outdoor gear and apparel for men and women, announces their newest products for kayak fishing. The CRatePak and CratePak Max were designed by kayak fishermen and feature an affordable, easy to access system, for gear and rod storage.
The CratePak fits over a standard milk crate (13” x 13”) and features 3 built-in rod holders, multiple mesh and fabric pockets for gear, and a safety light holder. The cover, with an additional top pocket that seals via velcro closures, is designed to keep your equipment inside. The exterior features d-rings to secure the system to your kayak or for equipment lanyards or retractors. Slits in the top of the unit allow the addition of a shoulder strap for carrying. The CratePak was designed by well known kayak fisherman and guide, Cory Routh, who has extensively field tested this unit in real world conditions. The CratePak is available in black, blaze orange ($49.95), and a special edition, camouflage ($54.95).
The CratePak Max is a complete redesign on a previous product and is geared towards kayaking, boating, and fishing in general. It is a fully self-contained unit made of 600D water resistant poly fabric and features padded interior panels for stability. Three integrated rod holders are built into one side, while the other sides feature a variety of covered pockets and storage bags. Both the interior and outer pockets have plastic grommets for water drainage. The exterior also has a built-in holder for a safety light/flag. The top of the unit features side flaps to ensure interior dryness as well as a clear storage compartment for maps, cell phones, or GPS units. Multiple exterior d-rings are included for securing the unit or attaching additional gear. A shoulder strap for transportation is also included. The CratePak Max is available in black and blaze orange ($94.95).
